Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in an awesome game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers play against other players. By competing against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more advanced gamblers taking their money.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty decisions.

It is also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with basically a little amount of money seeing as, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
