Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas holdem poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a quick vacation with my parents to the WinStar Betting house in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other men and women at the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was very interesting to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer powered, there have been no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stale. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, but I did observe the players on the table had a dull high quality to them. The cause of this might be since there was no human interaction with the croupier, the ambiance was rather boring and the gamblers looked weary. It was nearly as if I was seeing a live variant of a web-based hold em poker room rather than being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit spooky and I kept flashing back to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the reside tables was over an hour, I decided to see how the casino game play was and to experience this new texas hold’em poker gaming technology. Right after betting a few hands, I really felt like I was wagering at house. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these computer tables.
One more thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a lot of hands in the PokerPro table and discovered that the play was a whole lot like an internet based texas holdem poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be incredibly odd.
Following wagering a couple of rounds with this "new texas holdem poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m much better off playing holdem poker online at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house had been to receive rid of the live poker tables, I think they’d shed a great deal of gamblers.
